The Art School Fundraisers

Every year the biggest and most elaborate parties are always the Students’ Association fundraisers. Run by and for the students, these events are the place to go for the most boundary pushing entertainment in the country, you will be amazed by what can be done in our humble venue! 

Halloween, Christmas, Easter break; along with our annual Degree Show extravaganza are all fundraisers for the GSASA. We are a charity, and so these fundraisers help us to continue showcasing and supporting student led activity in the future.

Student Fundraisers

We also know that there will be plenty of projects students will want to fundraise for as a class or society… so we have a dedicated resource to help raise money for these various projects. Running club nights, screenings, pub quizzes etc are great ways to raise cash for all those non curricular (but recommended) events GSA will suggest. 

Annual fundraisers include the GSA Fashion Show, MASS’s Burns Supper and subsequent ceilidh, and many more…

We run an open call for events applications 3 times a year. If you don’t know how or where to start, never fret you can always learn – they don’t call us The Art School for nothing! We have drop in advice sessions available to help you make the most of the venue. 

Applications for fundraising events at The Art School are reviewed and approved by our Programming Committee, meaning that decision making about Fundraisers are made by our students. Application forms for putting on a fundraiser can be downloaded from the Student Voice section on Canvas and are sent out via email at least two weeks prior to the application deadlines.
