Some wonderful news on this bright and sunny day in Glasgow – the GSASA Trans* (Health)Care Fund is now live !!
Click here to apply. The deadline to access this round of funding is Thursday 11th April 2024 at 5pm.
This fund is open to current GSA students and staff that self-identify as trans/non-binary/intersex/gender-fluid and would like some monetary support towards trans (health)care*. [Healthcare here encompassing all forms of physical and mental care e.g. hormone therapy, surgeries, blood tests, binders/clothes, therapy/counselling etc.]
Please share this widely amongst GSA, so that all those who need it hear about it!
All tickets sales for the Pub Quiz this Thursday (7th) in the Vic will go directly into this fund – alongside all profits from Friday’s CABARET in the Vic.
This week has meant we have been able to create this fund. Crucially, this week will also be a space for community building and mutual aid. Whilst the capitalist (health)care structure often centres £££, we are also prioritising time, space, vulnerability, creativity & mutual aid.
