Coming Up: Community Meal!7th August, 2019

Saturday 10th August, The Assembly Hall, 4pm - 7pm

Our next community meal with Ubuntu Women Shelter will celebrate the women supported by SCOT-PEP, who are dedicated to the promotion of sex worker’s rights, safety and health.

SCOT-PEP will be taking over the open mic and there will be a screening of Workers by Petra Bauers and SCOT-PEP. The film is a collaborative project filmed in the Scottish Trade Union Congress, a building rooted in workers’ struggles for rights and political representation. During their one day occupation of this institution, conversations unfold that centre the voices of sex workers demanding to be seen as experts on their own labour and lives.

Workers, film still

This community meal will feature a vegan menu, and as always it’s free or pay what you can!

This event is for women only (trans and non-binary inclusive). Further information is available via the Facebook event here.
