My dearest fellows,

It has been such a long passing since our last encounter and I feel most urgently that you simply must join us for cucumber sandwiches and to hear our freshest ditties on Mr. Edison's newest contraption, the Phonograph. Quite the marvel of the modern age, and we have access to one of the finest examples in the entirety of the Commonwealth, at The Art School in fair Glasgow.

It is truly wondrous to hear music recorded from around the world, played for our convenience by a selection of "disque jockeys", the common term for Phonograph technicians. I do hope you find as much joy and beauty in them as much as we have. Our lead technicians currently applying their trade with much aplomb, Mr. Jack Swift and one Mr. Peter Annand, shall be demonstrating their knowledge and artistry upon these musical devices.
