Record Playerz is host to the coolest and edgiest clubbers on the
Scottish scene. Party arty/part party, the crowd are a lip-smacking
cocktail of the soft, the tough, some top class, some dumb ass, often
chic, invariably cheap.

The best kept clubbing secret in Glasgow, RPz is bursting at the seams
every week without the merest hint of a big name guest dj to its
credit. Only the resident djs select the music – a swirling and sweat
inducing mix of digital disco, hi-nrg punk rhythms and junk rock
attitude. Yet they still mange to draw the famous (Arctic Monkey,
Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Hot Chip, The Presets, Belle & Sebastian!)
as well as the merely fabulous, on to the infamous checker-board art
school dance floor.

Over the years the club has peppered its entertainments with superb
live bands from around the UK and Europe, including Performance,
Scissor Sisters, Riviera F, Flying Matchstick Men, Siriusmo, Namosh,
Jamie Liddell and Shit Disko. So watch for special band performances.
