SRC Funding Committee

The Funding Committee review applications and award funding to projects which have applied to our Student Initiated Project Fund, and to the Friends of GSA Publishing Fund. If you are interested in knowing more about application writing, or learning about how funding bodies work, consider joining this committee.

  • They discuss and allocate the funding which the Students’ Association awards for Student Initiated Projects
  • They help ensure that the SA are being fair in supporting students and aren’t overlooking any issues
  • They are a supportive group who help projects find valuable resources

The Funding Committee meet 3 times a year …

  • Wednesday November 21st 2018 at 12pm in the Assembly Hall, 20 Scott Street
  • Wednesday February 27th 2019 at 12pm in the Assembly Hall, 20 Scott Street
  • Wednesday May 8th 2019 at 12pm in the Assembly Hall, 20 Scott Street

Becoming a member of the Funding Committee

Students can become a member of the SRC Funding Committee at any time. The only requirements are:

  • You can commit to meet 3 times a year
  • You are a current student of Glasgow School of Art
  • You are a member of GSA Student Association*

* You may well already have registered as a member of GSASA during your online enrolment this year at GSA. However, it’s free to join any time: email studentengagement@theartschool.co.uk or pop in to see us. Anyone interested in joining the Committee is welcome to come along to a meeting. You can tell us in advance or drop in.
